It may be a little early to start making bets on our harvest, but our asparagus has been pushing up for a couple of weeks now, the herbs are out in full force and we just got the call from our Amish friends - it's officially the beginning of berry season! We picked up a first batch of strawberries just this afternoon, and that means shortcakes, jams, berries with country cream for breakfast, even some balsamic strawberries to top a creme brulee I've been dying to try.
